If only it were as easy as the picture above implies

If only it were as easy as the picture above implies. But there are rarely only one or two paths available to any given individual in their lives. In fact, to any given psychic there are myriads of possibilities you have available to you at any given moment in your life.

It’s just not as simple as taking the left or right turn.

And yet, there are things in your life that are concrete; set in stone.

The children you will or choose not to have, for instance. Your romantic partners. Your parents. Siblings.  Even your other family members are set in stone, even if you never meet them at all. Their genes contributed to creating you, and this was not a choice you made. It is concrete and can’t be changed or altered in any way.

The decision on whether to locate your birth family, or if you are well acquainted with your family, to associate further with them when you’re older, will arrive only as you come of age.
So there are concrete factors and then there is free will, which you’ll surely hear psychics talk about at some point in any given consultation. But free will is a bit more limited than you might think. A great example is this:  if your future (as well as near-future, present, or past) romantic partners are set in stone, then how can free will take you on a path leading away from them?
It can’t.

But the path itself is not one straight line.

Many forked lines lead to an array of different experiences that  will prepare you for meeting the person who you will either decide to spend a lifetime with, or a bit of time to help you understand what thrills and chills you in love. This knowledge you gain will allow you to move on wiser and with more experience to choose a better partner next time…or stick with who you’ve got.

I would call the different paths variables; each are like equations, of which many can be formed to arrive at the exact same answer. The solution to the equation, in this case, is where you mean to go. While the variables create the forks in the path, each deviating fork gets you there in a different manner. Same destination in all cases, but all manners of disparate paths to get there.

Psychics keep track of the variables, and we try our best to guide you off the darker paths so you can walk a little longer in the light. Certainly psychics know – and do their best – to warn you about any painful experiences you’ll come up against in your travels, but there are times when a sudden, unexpected departure from the path you make with your free will can cause you to twist an ankle.

Understandably, psychics aren’t fans of this. We hate seeing you in pain, and despite knowing you’ll recover fairly quickly from a sprained ankle, we’d prefer you hadn’t hurt yourself in the first place. But we cannot override your free will or that of any other. It might surprise some, but most psychics have willingly veered off the right path more often than not in order to best empathise with the plights of our clients. It’s not enough for us to just say we understand; in most cases we’ve lived it. Because psychics know that it’s not always the destination or the journey you take to get there that matters.

Sometimes, it’s who you travel with that counts the most.
