How to find a good psychic?

There are different types of psychics who have specific gifts or specializations, so if you know in advance which gift or service you are looking for, you will avoid disappointment.
An overview:
A medium is someone who can come in contact with people who are deceased.
A tarot card reader is someone who has studied the cards of the tarot and who can give you an insight based on this.
A clairvoyant has intuitive knowledge (they 'see' with their third eye). But there are also clairaudients and clairsentients (who can ‘feel’ the truth). There are even people who have clairolfaction of as a gift!
Channellers let others talk through them.
So there are different types of psychics with different gifts, although they sometimes have different gifts at once and use them. For example, a tarot reader who also has psychic abilities can interpret the cards with her paranormal gifts.
A good clairvoyant:
1. Helps you to weigh your choices. The clairvoyant will not make decisions for you or tell you what to do, but give you different scenarios so that you can choose with your own free will what you want to do.
2. Gives you hope. A good clairvoyant highlights the choices we have.
3. Asks few questions. If a clairvoyant asks many questions, he might find it difficult to connect with you or he's trying to pull the answers out of you. This does not mean that you don’t have to tell anything. A brief explanation of your problem and "physical information" such as your name and date of birth can help the psychic to connect with you.
4. Is there for you. A good clairvoyant is not trying to distract you by having a ‘cosy chat’ just so that they can talk about their own problems. The chances are that he or she is only doing this in order to delay and thus earn more money (that is especially true for para lines).
5. Tell the truth. A good clairvoyant client will not lie and give answers they (often so obvious) want to hear.
A bad clairvoyant will:
1. Tell you that he and he alone can change your future and then charge you extra money for the 'services'. These kinds of people say for example that you're cursed or that your ex will come back to you if you win the lottery, IF only you buy their expensive session.
2. Want you to believe that your future is fixed already. That is not true. Everyone has a free will, and you can always change your future.
3. Say that you should come back for more sessions in order to help you. This creates addiction. A good psychic will encourage you to trust your own intuition and support you with this.
4. Read from a script. When they talk tedious, as though they are literally reading a script, walk away quickly or hang up. Chances are that it's true. Most people have the same needs: money and love (preferably both).
So it is not difficult to guess what someone is calling for.
Can you trust a clairvoyant who works on the phone?
That's a good question. We are bombarded with all kinds of para and astro lines and in general they don’t have a good reputation. And sometimes rightly so. Some lines are only busy making money and the employees are just a reading from a script or guessing as they go along.
But that does not mean that all spiritual readers who work on the chat line are bad. A reading through the chat has also many advantages. Besides saving on costs and convenience for both parties (office space is expensive!), it also provides a kind of protection, the reader will not be as easily(unconsciously) influenced by what he or she might perceive physically as when the client would be physically present .
The authenticity of clairvoyants in scientific studies is always correctly assessed by placing a screen between the reader and the one who gets the reading.

Thus, the reader is forced to read, as it were truly on an otherworldly level.
So it's a matter of your personal preference, and especially your intuition.
A few final points:
- Investigate the website or profile of the psychic of your choice. Google, if necessary, his or her name.
- Do not go for the first person you see. Take your time and check out as many websites / profiles first.
- Do not do a reading more often than once a year. Avoid psychic addiction!
